Tomorrow (Nov 3rd) is Stress Awareness Day, a day where we are all reminded that we are not doing ourselves any favours by stressing about situations we can’t control. In fact, according to science, chronic stress leads to impaired cognitive and physiological functions. As part of Stress Awareness Day, let’s learn together to fine-tune our ability to choose one thought over another and let the stress ebb away.

Lavender has been used for centuries as an aid to combat stress due to its calming, soothing, and relaxing properties. It has long been thought that lavender can help to aid a restful night. There is even more good news as it is also thought that lavender may help lift the black cloud hanging over your head and give your mental outlook a much-needed pick-me-up. There’s plenty of research that suggests lavender has positive effects on mood, stress, anxiety, and depression.
