The Winter Solstice or Yule as it is referred to in the Wheel of the Year is celebrated on December 21st and it marks the start of the Wheel. It is here that we celebrate the shortest day and the longest night which signals the return of the sun and warmer, lighter days.
Traditionally, at Yule houses were adorned with evergreens, trees were decorated with ornaments, and wreaths were made and hung on the doors to symbolise the end and beginning of a new cycle. Our Yule fragrance as been created in-house with a bespoke blend if essential oils to honour the evergreens of this wonderful season.
This time has always been a significant time of reflection and ritual. It's time to pause and reflect upon the past year and celebrate all that it has brought. It is time to say goodbye to the old and welcome in the new.
